The names for all the inanimate objects around you such as computers and cars always confuses me, and I usually think something bad has happened to a person or an animal, at least at first. Heh.
Meant to add: I have this habit also. For example, our car has a name and our dishwasher is named Mabel... but our dishwasher is always named Mabel, in every place we've lived in together. We're on Mabel IV now.
Oh good, I was afraid there was real angst going on. Perhaps I should publish a definitive list? Question is should I add all the fish names as well? Could get quite extensive.....
Sorry Zee, but thats because you took it to Kwik Fit and what they have found can all be repaired by erm....... oh yes - them on site.
If I were you I would take a hit for the MOT cost and go to a MOT garage and see what they find. However if I had known it was a TR7, I would have told you they are money magnets :o(
Ahh, wire crossing going on. Gordon is the Saab 9000 and in fine working order. The TR7 is Rosie and trust me, there is NO chance of her passing her MOT at the moment, more of her is in the bedroom than is in her at the mo!!
I get the point about Kwik Fit though, I think Garry's going to head for an elsewhere before he does the work, it was convenient for him at the time.
I looked into taking it elsewhere, but I'm not exactly spoilt for choice round here. Apart from anything, I can't really trust any other garages round here to not try exactly the same thing.
Still, I've learnt some lessons!
