In the spirit of
nutter4's craft catch up, I started digging through my petit point and CrossStich projects. Stupid girl!!
I have now picked out and ordered the 5 I want to do most, starting with finishing off the project I started for Chris and Lillians Wedding on March 30th. I have to have it finished and at the framers the week before I see Sarah and Paul on the Weekend of the 17th of March, so I can have it back completed so that I can wrap it before then too.
Next I must finish the picture I started for Beth & Simon when Alex was born (yes, 5 years ago) which has picture holders stitched in, I was thinking I would put a recent picture of him in and give it to them for his 5th birthday in August. If I can find (or make) a similar pattern I shall try and do one for Freddie for his first birthday too.
The next project is a birthday special, and quite large one involving lots of gold thread (which rips heck out of my fingers) and I can't wait to see the back of.
The last 2 are undecided, I have a choice of another 5 to make the last two, 2 of which are quite small and easily done, in between times I have several sets of stitching I am doing for cards for various events, but those are 'one-sitting' types which keep me from getting frustrated during the huge swathes of colour on the biggies.
For now though, need silver thread (which also rips heck out of my fingers) for the next part of the current project. Dad is taking me to the craft shop on the way to Borders (yay for dads)
