Feb. 12th, 2007 12:29 pmI managed a very small snippet of web access on the laptop last night, just long enough to say hi to Sarah and Paul, then got cut off again. I had a bit of a film fest after that, watching films with big explosions with my earphones so I wouldn't disturb anyone.
I still got up at a reasonable time this morning, got dressed and got dad out of the house. The weather this morning has been blustery with the occasional downpour, but on the whole not bad, so we went walking. Had a good long, and quite energetinc walk and then went to Borders to a revitalising coffee and read of unsuitable books.
I picked up a copy of Hellers 'Catch-22' which is supposed to be brilliant, and ordered another couple of books from the McKiernan series that I am missing. I have now ordered 'Silver Wolf, Black Falcon' and 'Into the Forge' But I will be looking for the rest of the Braega Path/Iron Tower series'.
Now we're home for lunch, knackered having walked off all our energy, and the fun starts.
To do:
Clean kitchen
2 Loads of washing
Vacuum everywhere
Clean bathrooms
Clean my bedroom
Sort out car
