Blah but paid

zahrynTuesday had a minimum bit of excitement...Rich is (we think) preparing to sue for breach of contract, and Dan wanted Doug and I to prepare statements of everything that has happened organisation-wise since we started our jobs. I felt a bit bad about it because obviously I started before any of this happened, and although I have been affected by it, I found it hard not to just write everything off to "oh, it's a new company that just needs time to get on it's feet" There have been times when there have been deliberate problems caused by Town Bargain that have stopped us doing our jobs, it just took me a little while to seperate them from the rest of the general confusion.
Headache receded after a hot bath last night, but I had quite a bad day today with tunnel vision and feelings of nausea the Migralieve doesn't seem to have knocked it on the head. I haven't heard from UBS, the closing date for applications is May 1st, so anytime after that I would think, believe me, I'll let you know.
I have a sneaky suspicion that Beltane is going to end up being an indoor ritual this year, the circle of trees may have to wait until solstice. It's been pouring down here most of today, grey and overcast with some quite impressive storms, it's due to carry on for the rest of the week, then at the weekend we're due thunder and hail storms, I wouldn't mind if it was just rain, but hail and lightning is a bit OTT even for me!!
We are hoping to finally get the planting done this weekend, we have tomato plants to buy, beans and cucumbers to plant, I think we're also doing Peppers, potatoes and possibly squash this year too. I am not sure I'm going to be able to do much in the way of chutney this year, I shall try to get at least 1lb of green tomatoes, but we're also quite keen on just eating them when they ripen, I'll see what sort of sizes and numbers we end up with before I decide.
Todays work was dullsville, I finished all the calls I had to do, and spent the rest of the day chasing down new leads to start calling tomorrow. The good news is that Charlie and I are both doing well in the appointment dept. I have Joe all filled up until next thursday !
The other good news is that today was payday, for both of us. We went and cashed our checks after work today, I have to get onto my paypal account and send money to mum and dad, the rest of the bill paying will be happening over the next couple of days...importantly though GAS BILL IS PAID !!
Well, I'm off to sort out Paypal.
