Very blah weekend, low on energy and feeling lethargic. I spent Friday night and Saturday with Beth & the boys which is always fun, had dinner with some of the RAF people which was not so much fun, but ok.
Saturday I went to Garrys, spent the afternoon on the floor hunched over a sewing machine, a Flister-Lock 3, Overlocker made at least 2 years before I was born. Garry found it abandoned in the cupboard outside his flat so I cleaned it uo, figured out how it worked, oiled everything and popped it in my car, I now have seam-sewing capability. (Whoo-hoo)
Garry bought me lovely flowers as well, just because. They're the best kind :o) We did food shopping, listened to the radio, messed about re-studding my cords and played with bits of car, Garry was re-spraying bits of the dashboard and display and being all perfectionist about it :o)
Sunday we were both caught up with by our weeks and completely shattered, so even though we weren't late in bed saturday night, we kept falling back to sleep Sunday until we finally woke for good at about 4pm and got up. Still not really interested in doing much we bummed around, I did washing up and sorted out plants, did prep for the roast and Garry carried on with bits of car until we decided to sit and watch a movie. Garry hadn't seen Narnia, so that's what we watched. We had roast lamb with veg, yorkshire puddings and followed it with semolina which was yummy, but we were both completely stuffed.
I didn't want to get up this morning and Garry didn't want me to leave, which was nice, but I really couldn't stay as much as I wished I could. Work today has been hectic, although I have got a grip on my to do list now which is good. Now I'm going back to the house to put my flowers in water and change my sheets.
Goodnight xx
