Ahh, well we had a "patriot day" in Direct on Friday at the end of "patriot week" (celebrating St Georges day, mis-named but not the American version) and we were supposed to be dressing in "patriotic" colours, but due to my Heinz 57 heritage I was a blaze of colour. :) I also won a prize for "best dressed."
Re: the friend-dumping. One of my Chris friends (not darling-darling) has started going out with the "brainless one" who has decided that he can't have any female friends (feels threatened I suspect) so he texted that he's not allowed to play with me anymore. I'm over it though. If he's dumb enough to have his friendships dictated by her, then they deserve each other.
