Sunday School
Apr. 13th, 2008 07:36 pm...
What did we learn today?
1) Zees can be taught to sleep, long after other people are up and doing!
2) lower wire speed and patience make for good welding.
3) No internets is bad for Zee telephone bills
4) There is no mood problem that can't be solved by beans on toast!
I woke up shortly after 8am, lay awake for a bit to see if I would snooze or if it was time to grab my book. I went back to sleep again and woke up ... shortly after 1pm!!
Got up after breakfast in bed (Lemon Turd on toast) went to Tesco, shopped a bit then went back to the garage for more welding practise. Lower wire speed (3) and patience led to the goodest welding and Garry feels ready to start work on Rosie now which is brilliant. I laid out and measured interior, worked out carpet size required and measured the space for the parcel shelf.
Came home when the rain got too hard, made hot chocolate, and I misjudged a bit, tricked by the cunning milk which was in a 2 pint container this time, whereas last time it was a 1 pinter, so we can have more hot chocolate later.
While Garry was busily slicing himself open making his TR7 model into a proper Rosie (changing it to right hand drive and altering the steering wheel so it looks more accurate) I checked my email, got my new mobile bill from 02, £44!!! This is what happens when Zee has no internets!!! Luckily Garry has fixed the stack and so all should be well next week, but I've got to stop texting my mother :o)
I was in a bit of a Sunday funk (I hate that wkends are always brilliant and then I have to leave for another week, although I would also hate to be in each others pockets always .... I can't explain it) and had a sudden desire for beans on toast, so I whipped some up for us both, it went down very well.
Now I am enjoying a Sunday chill with Garry (still working on the TR7 model behind me) listening to the radio. Fish water in the cichlid tank is going to get changed later, they are currently enjoying a snack of little gem lettuce leaf to soften them up for getting mucked about later :o)
*hugs*
