Mid-week blahs
Feb. 7th, 2007 07:57 pmI'm a bit mid-week blah today, the day went well enough but I'm low on nrg and feeling arsey. Not for any particular reason, I had some good calls, some alright calls, and work was just work. I think that it's related to the lonely feelings that have reared up again, but that's conflicted with the desire to be off in the wilds away from 'society.'
I did my online test today, before the job interview I have on the 16th of Feb in Chichester. It was one of those personality type tests where they give you a set of 3 statements and you have to say which is most like you and which is least like you. I hate those flippin' things because there's no clear right answer (which bothers me) and there's no option to qualify your choices. The scenario types are even worse because you have to pick actions from a list of 3, none of which quite fit what I would actually do in those circumstances.
I did get it done, so that's another hurdle out of the way. Now all I have to do is wow the pants off them at interview, convince them they can't do without me and want to pay me buckets of cash to go work there. Miracle anyone??
I currently have rice pudding with lemon and hot tea, am on the computer while mum and dad watch Poirot, then there's going to be more Firefly.
Other Things in my brain:
It's supposed to snow tonight
Beth bought me a purple skirt today
The most unsuitable person in the world is having a baby
I now officially have 2 stalkers, a bloke from Sheffield called Brian and a customer called Michael
I am making crumble Friday night (Don't laugh
nutter4)
I can't wait for next weekend
I got the first academy 'Full House' of Insurance sales today (new incentive started Monday)
I really wish I could get assigned to a team so that I no longer have to worry I'll be stuck with EL.
