I slept so well last night, 10 hours solid sleep, I don't think I moved position much, I certainly didn't wake up at all. Consequently I was a leetle stiff when I got up, but a shower soon eased my aches and woke me up.
I got up to the call centre and enjoyed a bit of friendly banter with Lyn, Kirsten and Rachel, then I got set up to take calls and started catching up on emails, checking my calendar for call backs etc. Lyn surprised me by bringing me coffee, which was very nice of him and helped my morning along.
The phones were dead slow, I got everything else caught up, all my case management and logs and then started reading the small ads in case anyone was selling a laptop cheap (I'm looking for one for Si and Beth) I found one for £150 which would have been ok, except that it was a Mac and it needs to be Windoze based, with MS software in order that Simon can use it for his work stuff. I'm sure there is a wasy to interface between them, but I don't know enough to be able to do it.
The hunt goes on, and I don't want to spend more than about £150-£200 but I will keep my eyes peeled. The other option I am toying with is buying a new one for myself and giving this one to B&S, trouble is I would have to have this one over-hauled, serviced, cleaned up and probably upgraded which could just make it more expensive in the long run.
I got side-tracked, I was bored, Lyn was busy so I was pestering him, which he loves, but wasn't helping him get his work done, so he "sent me home early for bad behaviour" which was great. I was home early enough to have supper at a decent hour, we sat around and watched "Monsters Inc" which none of us have seen in a long time, but was a lot of fun, and now I am up here again, all vamp'd up enjoying my new action points and using some of my fortune to buy scrolls to get ready for another attempt at Celerity.
Bed early again for me, I love these lavender candles and my room is so cozy. Tomorrow I have to work, but then am going out with the girls for a bit of a dance after work, then I will spend Sunday catching up on chores, washing, cleaning, sorting etc etc.
