We had more polling cards through the post within the week after the elections asking us to vote for our parish councillors. We went along tonight to vote and could vote for up to 5 candidates (out of 10) I did the same thing I usually do with these ones (which make stuff all difference) and voted for the people with the silliest names. Crutchley, Fradgley (which isn't a rude word, but should be!!) Alcock and Seaman all got my votes, two of them Independent, one Lib and one Con. Fair distribution of silly names I suppose.
This weekend sees us at the Northampton Beer Festival - is anyone else likely to be there??
Following the trend we've gone through the list of Beers, printed it out and highlighted all the ones with the silliest names to try first, there are about 30 of them so we'll be sharing, otherwise we'll be on the floor. Then afterwards it's back to JJs for the Eurovision Pong Contest. I heard our entry for the first time today on my way home, I didn't know it was the entry until Steve Wright told me after the song, but I recognised it instantly as Eurovision material....How sad is that??
