Sleep is Strange

Where does my mind go?
I'm probably banging on about this far too much, but I'm really still not used to the complete and total absence of dreaming at the house. It's fine at the wkends, at Garrys or family, then it seems like my mind is almost making up for the lack of dreaming during the week. Perhaps it's the job? Perhaps now it's taxing my brain much more than 'The Wide' ever did so there's more 'processing' going on at night and less adventure?
Also there's the odd method of sleeping, no feeling sleepy, laying down and lightly dozing off to slumberland for Zee, oh no. Sometimes I don't even get to the laying down part, sometimes I'm siting up in bed with my book avidly reading when the lights go out in my head. I go from wide awake to dead asleep in no time flat.
Last night I logged off MSN when I stopped making sense (sometimes I don't notice passing that stage) :o) and got my washing out, hung up and then got into bed. I sat up reading against my pillows and was getting quite into the story again, looked at my clock (it was little after 22:30) and then that's it - lights out and I woke up at 2am with my book beside me on the bed. I turned off the light and put my book away, snuggled down and was asleep again in no time, until I woke up just after 5am again :o(
I hope this doesn't carry on too much longer, it's leaving me with an odd sense of unreality all the time, as though I'm actually dreaming when I think I'm awake!!
Busy work week this week, lots going on and lots to do to prepare for Conference. Friday I'm going to go visiting again which will be fun, bank holiay wkend so Sunday I'm going to stay with Garry, we'll probably spend Monday with Rosie.
