Yes, you read that right :o)
I had my 6-week review today, it was all positive, my Big 3 all think I'm "efficient, cheerful, helpful and add value" to their jobs. I've settled in well, Nikki is very happy with me and had nothing bad to say at all. I picked up a few things, gaps in my knowledge that I'm aware of and possible gaps that I don't know about yet.
We talked about all sorts, training that I might want to put myself forward for after my probationary period is over, and that I would renew my St Johns First Aider quals to be a First Aider at work, my previous training has lapsed and Speedo is short of them so it's something they'd be quite happy to pay for me to do.
All in all a positive and affirming meeting. I left feeling good and pleased that the work I have been doing is good, feeling appreciated which is something I haven't had in a while.
In other news, I got lots done today, came back here to an empty house and started ironing, got 2 weeks worth of shirts done during the Drive Time show on Radio 2 and then Giles came back too, so we've been catching up. He's knackered so he's put on washing and plans to veg for the night I think.
I'll be on here, watching the BBC iplayer and chatting I expect. I also need to do some research into broadband internet in case I need to connect if I end up moving, it all needs to go into the budget ya'know!!
