Last Night
Feb. 23rd, 2008 09:06 am....
Well, that went well. I had lovely food; a pasta thing with pesto, drank lots of beer and some shots of something (the first one was tequila and then after that I lost track) and got cuddled A LOT :o)
This was helped by my random hugging expedition which basically involved choosing non-dodgy-looking victims as they walked in the door, dashing up to them and squealing "I'm so glad you're here" before jumping on them and hugging them. The rest of my party were enjoying the look of abject terror on the faces of these people as they realised they had no idea who the hell I was *snigger* but the majority of them hugged me back so all's well...
I got presents! I got some lovely things chosen by the amazing Skeffers, some little bud vases, a beautiful wooden photo frame which matches my bureau, some Baileys and matching glasses, a huge chocolate cow, a mini transformer and a new mug for my desk at the new job (very important) I loved it all, and a leaving card, and lots of people wrote in my leaving book as well so I feel very loved and valued.
I know I texted some people, I can't remember much of what about, although I think there was a "trouser snakes being regulated by the Geneva Convention" conversation with someone. Shane my phone doesn't keep a record of my conversations huh?
Emma brought me home at some point and we sat and had coffee and chatted for a bit, then I got on the computer for a very short time trying to stay awake until the room stopped spinning, but eventually I just couldn't keep my eyes open anymore so I had to go. This morning I was up at 8am, I have drunk water and had a shower, I feel good, and excited because I'm going to stay with Garry for the rest of the weekend.
Wish me luck as I may not be online again until next weekend.
