I still have my first ever trophy for winning something, it was a bowling trophy that I got aged 9 when my team (Girls Galore) won the tournament for our age group. (9-13)

Since then, actual trophy winning (or even medal winning) has been thin on the ground, so much so that the medal I got for completing the Montana Womens Run in 2006 is sitting in the bowling trophy keeping it company.

I'm not much for competing, and the result of this is that I'm not much for winning stuff, I have won things at work when there have been incentives, usually just in the course of me doing my job, and the items won are usually alcoholic rather than 'keepsake-y.'

Soo, today I had a pot poodle for my lunch (original curry, yum yum) and imagine my surprise when the lid revealed that I'd won a limited edition new flavour pot poodle!? It's just brightened up my day :o)

It's a perfectly good substitute for food, and nothing to stick your nose up at.. :o)
