Good job! You obviously have paid attention to what is going on in particle physics. You might appreciate reading articles in nature (http://www.nature.com/physics/index.html) about physics. The universe is an amazing place, and research in particle physics is constantly bringing humanity closer to understanding it!

Edumacated guesswork saw me through the majority of my Organic Chemistry exams, apparently it's something I still have a flair for. A few of my 10 answers were pure "process of elimination" stuff.

The 4 flavours of quark question really threw me, because I'd never heard 'bottom' described as 'beauty' before, but I guess it makes sense. Feynman diagrams still give me the willies though :)

Yeah, that one threw me, too.
I guess someone had a particular predilection for bottoms :D

On a related note, PH and I were doing "opposites" whilst walking back from nursery one day last week:
PH: What's the opposite of "up"?
RH: "Down"! What's the opposite of "top"?
PH: "Bottom"!
RH: What's the opposite of "strange"?
PH: ???
RH: It's "charmed", lad. Remember that - it'll serve you well in later life.

I got a quizzical look from a hedge-cutting neighbour.

I've just launched that particular conversation to the world at large here (http://racinghippo.livejournal.com/184415.html).
