Stuff 'n' Junk
I have finally been signed off at work, had 2 fab calls results today and all is well, it's taken some time (I feel like) to get here, but it's a pretty good feeling, bring on the payrise!!
This weekend I am working Saturday but I have a day to myself Sunday, I think I will spend the morning in bed and the head out somewhere for a long walk in the afternoon, possibly to the ridgeway to walk from Waylands Smithy to Uffington and back, not sure yet.
Nothing much else going on, dad had his neurologist appointment at the John Radcliffe Hospital and did quite well, according to the doc there the only bits he's still missing are the abilities to sort information and arrange it. That will come back over time, but they are seriously looking at early retirement for him now since it's unlikely to solve itself in the next 2 years and that is one of the important skill sets he needs to do his job.
As a result he's making a major go of the ebay business and things seem to be booming there at the moment. I have got both parents hooked on Firefly, I got the box set for Xmas but haven't watched it yet, so I'm watching it again while they watch it for the first time.
Well, another early start tomorrow, I am actually looking forward to the noon shift next week, stupid really since it means I won't be able to find either a) a parking space or b) a computer. At least I can lie-in though, catch up on my sleep a bit.

Bit of a bummer about your dad, but at least he does have another source of income that should provide him with some interest - I'm really glad he got his eBay-working capabilities back.

Dad's alright, he's still flying on the back of the information from the Doctor that, even though he has issues with the pattern and arranging skills, he still tests within the top 10th percentile of the population, and that's after the stroke!!

If you ever fancy doing that walk....
