Tonight I have installed winamp, found virgin radio and (with a little help from a clever clogs) also found Radio 2!! I can get uncrackly radio wherever I am now :o)
Now have to figure out whether you really do need at least windows xp to run 02 broadband, or if it's just the software installation that it's needed for....

Date: 2008-05-08 10:35 am (UTC)Alternatively - if you're not attached to a USB broadband modem, then just go out and buy a normal ADSL router/switch - with an ethernet connection... That's what I've done and you can then program in the connection settings through your browser - after which, any computer connected to the router can find the internet irrespective of the operating system. That's exactly what I've done and I use it with asssorted versions of windows back to W2000 Pro and numerous linux distro's and Solaris. They all work perfectly!
